Mumbai, November 22, 2018 (Team Online News India): After playing Dev in Star Plus’ ‘Kya kasoor hai Amala Ka?’ Anant Joshi is yet again coming back on StarPlus but this time for a unique genre.
He donned a negative role in his previous stint and now the actor will be seen in a completely new light. He will be playing the role of ‘Krishna’ in Shashi-Sumeet’s KarnSangini.
He revealed, “I’ve previously worked with StarPlus so it’s like a homecoming. All the characters I’ve played have been close to reality and this is the first time I’ll be a part of mytho-romance genre. I am really excited to play Krishna’s role.It’s a very challenging role for me and I am very excited for this show. I wish to outshine the character in the show and hence have already started preparing for the same. I believe it would also help me to expand my horizons as an actor. I am super thrilled to be a part of this show.”
He added, "I am happy with featuring on mythological show. I don't differentiate between genres, as it's my job as an actor to play any part that I take up with conviction. Besides, mythological shows offer us a better insight into religion and mythology.”
