Ludhiana, September 07, 2019 (Akash Sharma): Eco - Club of Drishti Dr. R.C. Jain Innovative Public School took an initiative to promote conservation of water by organizing a rally in the Narangwal village on September 7, 2019 (Saturday).
Students of the club also wrote slogans and made posters on the theme of water conservation. The students made the villagers aware of the need to conserve water as the decreasing level of groundwater is a matter of concern for the entire country. Reducing the wastage and recycling the used water will help in saving a lot of water at home as well as in school.
Almost 90 students participated in the Rally and marched the streets of Narangwal attracting everyone’s attention. They held placards and shouted slogans ‘Save Water, Save Life, and Jal Hai to Kal Hai’.
The students, teachers, and villagers took a solemn pledge to conserve water and not to waste even a single drop of water. They also vowed to devote two hours per week to the same Mother Earth.
