Ludhiana, February 18, 2021 (Akash Sharma): CT University and Max Super Specialty Hospital, Mohali have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) where the students of University will be provided Training and Internship at the Hospital. Together, Clinical Researches and CSR activities will be organised and various conferences and seminars as for the students.
The MoU was signed by Vivan Singh Gill, Vice President Operations, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali and Dr Harsh Sadawarti, CT University. Meanwhile, Gill, said, “This is a great opportunity for students as both hands on training and basic education will be provided along with guidance to students for their projects/thesis in their areas of interest. Also, students will have an exposure to various equipment, instruments etc.”
The University is running courses such as Bachelors in Hospital Administration (BHA) and Masters in Hospital Administration (MHA) - Healthcare Management and other programs of Healthcare Sciences like B.Sc Medical Lab Technology, Radiology Imaging Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Physiotherapy, Aesthesia etc.
On this note, Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, CTU added, “Healthcare professionals play a vital and critical role in improving access and quality health care for the community. Mechanisms for optimizing the strengths and skills of health professionals will thus be essential in achieving the Millennium Development Goals. CTU has, therefore, started new age health care programs and team Max shall be providing them with the best of practical trainings.”
