Anuja Joshi says she is very lucky to have someone like Mrinal Dutt

Mumbai, March 03, 2021 (News Team): Staying away from family and friends, trying to be in the skin of your character and shooting consecutively for long hours on a project tends to be exhausting until you find ways to entertain yourself. Anuja Joshi, whose recent psychological thriller Hello Mini 2 launched on MX Player, says she has made some lifelong friends on the sets of this web series, especially co-actor Mrinal Dutt, who helped her pull through the difficult days of the shoot.

The long-awaited season 2 of the series that released on 26th February sees Anuja Joshi essay the role of Rivanah Banerjee aka Mini and Mrinal Dutt as Danny, Mini’s love interest.

“It was tough shooting for this season, the on-going pandemic has made processes longer and stricter. It’s hard staying away from family but I’m glad I had Mrinal by my side. He’s a great friend and has been a huge support throughout the shoot of ‘Hello Mini 2’. This relationship off screen is what helped us bring depth to the characters that we portray. Danny and Rivanah are loved together and what you see on-screen is genuinely that comfortable. He brings such a positive energy with him wherever he goes. He’s fun, chill, hilarious and understanding – I must say, he’s a catch, ladies!”, chuckles the actress.

MX Original Series Hello Mini 2 is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Goldie Behl’s Rose Audio Visual. Directed by Arjun Srivasstava, it is adapted from Novonveel Chakraborty’s ‘Stranger Trilogy’ and written by Anand Sivakumaran and Ayushee Ghoshal. The 10 episodic series sees Anuja Joshi reprise her role as Mini (Rivanah Banerjee) alongside Gaurav Chopra, Mrinal Dutt, Anshul Pandey, Nikhita Chopra, Darshana Banik, Vinit Sharma, Abhinav Sharma, Ambika Nayak, Joy Sengupta, Summer Jacobs in pivotal roles.

With this season, the Stranger is back in Mini’s life and the dare is to stay alive. While Mini gets sucked into yet another vortex by the Stranger, she also becomes a prime suspect in murder investigation because she participates in an illegal game on the dark web - Dare Defy. Will Mini be able to beat the Stranger or is it game over her for?
