Amritsar, April 06, 2022 (Nannu Studio): FICCI FLO Amritsar Chapter under the leadership of the newly elected Chairperson Shikha Sareen is working hard towards making Amritsar an autism inclusive city. FLO Amritsar is going to work together in tandem with various service industry providers like restaurants, salons, malls, schools and many others. Aurah, Grain, Geetanjali Salon, Masterstroke, Mall of Amritsar, Edufied, Doon and Spring Blossoms have joined hands in this initiative.
A music and dance performance was done by special needs children of Ibadat an NGO for differently abled children.
FICCI FLO has taken an initiative to spread the awareness about the means to help enhance the quality of life of autistic children and their families as well as to minimize the associated social stigma.
FICCI FLO signed an MOU with SOCH Autism Society of Punjab, an NGO providing services and facilitating inclusion for autism in Punjab.
Eminent panelists like Batsy Neuville, Senior leader for keystone Institute International, USA, Anupama Mehra, Principal Spring Blossoms, Dr. Ashmeet Singh, MBBS MD, ANR Hospital, Aarti Mehra, Mother of Niyati Mehra; Anjali Dada, President of Soch Autism Society of Punjab; Prerna Khanna Special educator Spring Dale Senior School Executive member of GIEN ( Global inclusive education network), Deliberated on the pertinent topic of discussion.
