Amritsar, April 05, 2022 (NANNU Studio): Flo Amritsar, a prominent women's organization, hosted the Curtain Raiser event of its sixth year, the 'Stellar Sixth Year', under the Chairmanship of Himani Arora. The event was graced by the presence of the renowned actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood, who gave an inspiring speech.
The event also saw the presence of Humeira Mushtaq, the first female circuit car racer from Jammu and Kashmir. Ms Humeira was felicitated with the Flo Game Changer Accolade award for her incredible achievements, including making a podium finish in the MRF Indian National Racing Championship in Chennai.
Flo Amritsar also unveiled its latest project, the 'Doctor on Wheels' initiative, at the event. The aim of this initiative is to provide quality healthcare services to people who are in need, especially in remote and underprivileged areas. The 'Doctor on Wheels' initiative will bring primary healthcare services to the doorsteps of the people at no cost. The mobile van is fully equipped with an inbuilt pharmacy and laboratory, and the speciality will change from time to time to cater to all the needs of the health sector.
The van will be stationed in rotation at villages, outside gurudwaras, slum areas, and other places where the need arises. A specialist/able doctor will always be on board along with an assistant, ensuring that the people receive the necessary medical attention.

With the 'Doctor on Wheels' initiative, we aim to take it a step higher and bring quality healthcare services to the doorstep of those who are in need, especially in remote and underprivileged areas.
